April PNF Conditions
We are in season with several small wildfires already taking place. Please note how low the moisture levels are for the Verde region, 39% of normal. For the Cherry region, 53% of normal. There will be a Prescott Basin Ops Drill on April 19th and 20th from 08:30 to 15:00. Weather permitting, there will be live fire on both days. There will be multiple burns with task force assignments given out at the ICP after the 08:30 check-in. Prepare to see some smoke on those days, weather permitting.

Please be careful with all fire including chains that are dragging on the roadway. Don’t throw your cigarette out the window. Use your ashtray! Always remember to extinguish any campfires! Talks are already underway concerning fire restrictions.
